Our range of demulsifiers offer full phase separation of waste garage oils, slop and ballast fuels.
Treatment outcomes are designed to achieve the maximum yield of dry oil for recycling.
KEY PROPERTIES
Demulsifiers are a blend of coalescing agents, wetting agents and surfactants.
Coalesing agents destabilise the water in oil emulsion enabling water droplets to coalesce together into a separate phase.
Wetting agents are used to separate the solids phase from the waste emulsion.
Surfactants are designed to minimise the volume of interphase emulsion between the oil and water phases.
APPLICATION AND KEY PRODUCTS
We have a wide range of waste oil treatment demulsifiers, reverse demulsifiers and dispersants.
We offer a free laboratory service to advise on the selection of the correct Demulsifiers appropriate to the emulsion being treated.

APPLICATION
Typical treatment dosages vary widely from 750ppm to 3000ppm depending upon the emulsion.
For best results heat the emulsion to above 80°C, slowly inject the Demulsifier and mix until homogeneous.
After application of the Demulsifier dosing and pumping equipment should be switched off to allow phase separation
to take place in a turbulant free environment.
